Laser Peel

A laser peel is generally well-tolerated by most clients. During the procedure, you may experience a mild warming sensation and slight tingling as the laser removes damaged skin layers. The level of discomfort varies based on the depth of the peel and individual pain tolerance. 

To ensure comfort, we use advanced cooling technology and numbing options if necessary. Any post-treatment sensitivity typically feels similar to a mild sunburn and subsides within a few hours to a couple of days. Proper aftercare, including hydration and avoiding harsh skincare products, can help minimize discomfort and speed up the healing process.

A laser peel treatment typically takes between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the treatment area and the depth of the peel. The procedure begins with a consultation and skin preparation, ensuring the laser energy is precisely adjusted to your needs. 

The actual laser treatment lasts about 20 to 45 minutes, during which controlled laser pulses target and remove damaged skin layers. After the procedure, a cooling application may be used to soothe the skin. While the session itself is relatively quick, recovery time varies, with most clients experiencing redness and mild peeling for a few days.

It is best to wait at least 24 to 48 hours before applying makeup after a laser peel to allow the skin to heal properly. Your skin may be sensitive, red, and slightly swollen immediately after the procedure, and applying makeup too soon can increase the risk of irritation, clogged pores, or infection. 

Instead, focus on gentle skincare, hydration, and sun protection during the healing process. Once the skin has calmed down, use non-comedogenic and mineral-based makeup products to avoid irritation. Always ensure makeup brushes and sponges are clean to prevent bacteria from affecting the healing skin.
